2014 Mercury 115, 4 Stroke, Long (20″) Shaft. The engine was removed from an aluminum fishing boat at 224 hours because there is a large hole in the powerhead. Gear lube was drained from lower unit and did not show any signs of water or metal shavings. Engine will need a new powerhead before being put back into service. It has only been used in freshwater.
